Becky Jasontek capped a remarkable personal comeback with an Olympic bronze medal Friday. Five years after nearly dying from a ruptured ovarian cyst, the Loveland native was part of the U.S. synchronized swimming team that finished third, behind the Russian Federation and Japan.
With their free routine Friday, the Americans held the spot they secured Thursday night in the technical half of the competition. Jasontek attended Mount Notre Dame and Ohio State.
