Cintech assets to be sold Monday

The assets of Cintech Solutions Inc., Blue Ash developer of call center software, will undergo a bankruptcy court-supervised auction Monday in Cincinnati.
The company, which struggled with declining sales and losses since 2000, sought court protection from creditors in March. David Schmitt, who operates several area manufacturing businesses, has negotiated a preliminary purchase agreement, but other potential buyers could step forward at the auction slated for 10 a.m. in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Schmitt wasn't available for comment, but Dino Lucarelli, Cintech's acting CEO, said Schmitt plans to continue Cintech as a free-standing company. It employs about 30.
