        • Matt Armbruster, New Richmond, Sr., QB, 6-1, 195, Southern Buckeye Conference-American Player of the Year.

        • Brad Bachman, Harrison, Sr., LB, 6-2, 220, second on team with 81 tackles as a junior.

        • Vince Berry, Purcell Marian, Sr., CB/TB, 5-11, 175, named team MVP after an outstanding junior season at cornerback.

        • Justin Blackley, Purcell Marian, Sr., FB, 6-0, 185, excellent blocking back and runner; first-team Greater Catholic League-North as a junior.

        • David Blanks, Moeller, Sr., CB, 6-0, 175, made four interceptions as a junior; will be a three-year starter.

        • Marcus Blanks, Moeller, Sr., RB, 6-0, 175, in 11 games, rushed for 1,666 yards and 13 TDs.

        • Nate Bunce, Badin, Sr., TE/DT, 6-6, 245, great pass rusher with college size.

        • Matt Chacherer, Princeton, Sr., LB, 6-1, 220, made 100-plus tackles as a junior. First-team GMC selection.

        • Matt Cohen, CCD, Sr., LB/FB, 6-2, 215, led team with 145 tackles as a junior.

        • Bryan Cupito, McNicholas, Jr., QB, 6-foot-3, 175 pounds, completed 136 of 248 passes for 1,887 yards as a sophomore.

        • Nick Dabbelt, Moeller, Sr., WR, 6-1, 175, possession receiver; caught 44 passes for 850 yards as a junior.

        • Chris Daniels, Princeton, HB, Sr., 5-11, 180, top-notch acceleration, great open-field runner.

        • Mike Depetro, Moeller, Sr., LB, 6-0, 205, led team in tackles as a sophomore and one of leaders as a junior.

        • Dentrell Douglas, Princeton, Sr., DB, 5-10, 170, will be a three-year starter; consistent covering the pass.

        • Eric Elmendorf, Finneytown, Sr., LB, 6-1, 205, recorded 94 tackles and nine for loss as a junior.

        • Jimmy Freeland, Princeton, Sr., LB, 6-1, 215, made 100-plus tackles as a junior. First-team GMC selection.

        • Kevin Furlow, Western Hills, Sr., RB, 5-11, 175, Queen City Conference Player of the Year as a junior, rushed for 1,022 yards.

        • Ryan Hamby, Moeller, Sr., TE, 6-5, 225, caught 32 passes for 600 yards; great blocker.

        • Chad Harp, Sycamore, Sr., LB, 5-10, 190, one of the fastest linebackers in the city.

        • Earl Haynes, Fairfield, Sr., RB, 5-9, 165, rushed for 1,988 yards on 317 carries (6.3 average) and 23 touchdowns.

        • Ben Hubert, Elder, Sr., OL, 6-4, 260, strong player that excels at run-blocking.

        • Dan Huerkamp, Roger Bacon, Sr., LB/FB, 6-3, 190, three-year starter who is always around the ball.

        • Matt Knollman, Lakota West, Sr., C, 6-5, 235, tremendous athleticism for a big man; honorable mention all-state as a junior.

        • Matt Knueven, La Salle, Sr., WR, 6-2, 190, caught 48 passes for 671 yards and five touchdowns; special mention all-state as a junior.

        • Kyle Koester, Elder, Sr., RB, 6-1, 235, hard-nosed back; rushed for 1,153 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior.

        • Sean Krebbs, Walnut Hills, Sr., OG/DL, 6-4, 285, will be a three-year starter. Named first-team all-QCC as a junior.

        • Jason Leimberger, Lakota West, Sr., LB, 6-3, 195, has tremendous closing speed; led team with 90-plus tackles as a junior.

        • Jerron Long, Lakota West, Sr., FS, 5-10, 180, makes big plays and covers sideline to sideline.

        • Mark Longmire, Western Hills, Sr., DB, 5-10, 160, made five interceptions as a junior; first-team QCC.

        • Cortez McBerry, Winton Woods, Sr., LB/DB, 6-0, 185, will be a four-year starter. Had 50-plus tackles with seven sacks and 14 tackles for loss as a junior.

        • Marty Mooney, St. Xavier, Jr., QB, completed 91 of 146 passes for 1,358 yards as a sophomore.

        • Adrien Nichols, McNicholas, Sr., LB, 6-2, 235, led the GCL-North with more than 100 tackles as a junior; will be a three-year starter and defensive captain.

        • David Ray, Batavia, Sr., NG, 6-2, 250, honorable mention all-state; l• Evan Nolan, St. Xavier, Sr., K, 6-1, 160, had 45-yard range as a junior.

        • Darren Schneider, Northwest, Sr., QB/K, 6-4, 180, broke nearly every school passing record as a junior; completed 113 of 220 passes for 1,313 yards and 12 TDs.

        • James Sims, Ross, Sr., LB, 5-11, 190, was second in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference with 140 tackles as a junior.

        • Ryan Smith, Harrison, Sr., TE, 6-3, 220, led team with 31 catches for 437 yards as a junior.

        • Zach Strief, Milford, Sr., OT, 6-8, 305, one of the best run-blocking linemen returning.

        • Pat Sullivan, Turpin, Sr., QB/DB, 6-0, 170, threw for 977 yards and nine touchdowns and rushed for 400 last season.

        • Jeff Taylor, Purcell Marian, Sr., TB, 5-11, 190, led team in rushing as a junior.

        • Mike Thaler, La Salle, Sr., DL, 6-2, 285, recorded 75 tackles and 13 for loss; first-team all-district as junior.

        • Carlos Tipton, Winton Woods, Sr., RB, 6-3, 195, explosive runner, great in the open field.

        • P.J. Volker, Elder, Sr., LB, 6-1, 210, excellent playmaker; led team with 116 tackles as a junior.

        • Reggie Watson, La Salle, Sr., WR/DB, 5-9, 165, versatile player; racked up 1,852 all-purpose yards as a junior.

        • Chris Weinheimer, Loveland, Sr., DL/OL, 6-2, 300, a three-year starter; very agile; outstanding offensive guard.

        • Evan Wirtley, Edgewood, Sr., S/WR, 6-3, 175, led city with nine interceptions as a junior.

        • DeShawn Wynn, Reading, Jr, RB, 6-1, 210, rushed for 1,915 yards as a freshman.

        • Joe Zinkan, Moeller, Sr., LB, 5-11, 175, leading tackler as a junior; named player of the week by Scholastic Sports of America after a 14-tackle performance.
