Springboro's Griffen ready

Replacing tailback Adam Dillon will be a tough task for Dustin Griffen, a defensive back for Springboro during the 1999 season.
But, if Griffen's effort in a starting assignment last season is an indication of what to expect, Panther fans may quickly forget some of the past great running backs.
In a game with Dillon out with an injury, Griffen rushed for 150 yards, including a 70-yard run for a touchdown.
Dustin has a knack of finding the hole, coach Mark Kalugyer said. He's so fast and quick and has ability to find the crease in the defense. He'll get some yardage for us this season
If Griffen performs up to expecations, and the defense proves to be stingy again this year, Springboro appears to have the ability to make a run at another MML North title.
