The Hamilton County Republican Party will host a tribute to Ronald Reagan at noon Thursday on Fountain Square.
All are invited to spend their lunch hour honoring the 40th president, said Greg Hartmann, the clerk of courts for Hamilton County and county chairman for the Bush-Cheney re-election campaign.
Tentative plans include U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Ohio, giving the keynote address and the Rev. Charles Winburn, a former Cincinnati city councilman, saying a prayer. Bertie Helmick, a professionally trained opera singer and wife of Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Dennis Helmick, will sing "God Bless America."
Hamilton County GOP Chairman Michael Barrett will emcee the event.
