BANDDallas Moore Band This top-shelf country-rocker has been hanging out with David Allan Coe and working with a variety of backup musicians. His next local date will be his CD release party at Coyote's, where he'll front Travis Tritt's backup band. Regular gigs: No local dates; he's been on the road. Most recent CD: My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, but a new, mostly original disc is slated for release in late March. Stagger Lee Stagger Lee has been pleasing fans since long before the Garth Ages. With a growing number of originals and a recent CD, the band has increased its huge loyal following. Regular gigs: Wednesday-Saturday at Cadillac Ranch. Most recent CD: Stagger Lee. Wild Blue Yonder From hard country to good ol' rock 'n' roll, Wild Blue Yonder provides a varied evening of dynamic live music. Frequently features former Wheels drummer Mickey Foellger. INSTRUMENTALISTBobby Joe Mueller When he's not concentrating on his lead vocal duties, Stagger Lee's front man mixes strong rhythm guitar with some bluesy harmonica. Scott Sprague From country to rock to blues, lead guitarist Scott Sprague puts the wild and blue into Wild Blue Yonder. Regular gigs: The Oasis, Miller's Fill Inn and Coyote's as an opening act. Most recent CD: none. K.J. Summerville Another keeper of the country-rock flame, K.J. mixes things up on lead guitar with Stagger Lee. Regular gigs: Wednesday-Saturday at Cadillac Ranch. Most recent CD: Stagger Lee. VOCALISTBetsy Lippitt The fiddler/vocalist with Wild Blue Yonder is a real MVP, switching from blues to ballads to full-tilt rock. Regular gigs: The Oasis, Miller's Fill Inn and Coyote's as an opening act. Most recent CD: None. Dallas Moore There's a bit of Willie and Waylon and Hank Jr. in this local outlaw. Regular gigs: Has been on the road with David Allan Coe and touring with Travis Tritt's backup band, so he's been absent from the local scene. Most recent CD: My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, but he has a new, mostly original disc slated for release in late March. Bobby Joe Mueller Gritty and soulful, Bobby Joe Mueller's voice has been a big part of the local country scene since the days when John Travolta wore a Stetson.
