Rob Fetters It was 15 years ago that ''Fear is Never Boring'' became a local hit. Today, Rob Fetters' songs continue to hit the mark in exciting, unexpected ways. Regular gigs: Rare local performances, as his day job as house composer at Sound Images studio keeps him away from clubs at night. Most recent CD: Lefty Loose, Righty Tight. Bobby Joe Mueller Stagger Lee's long-awaited debut CD arrived late last year, serving notice that this was more than just another honky tonk band. Original songs such as ''Gravel Road,'' ''Lay a Little Lovin' on Me,'' ''Remember Me'' and ''Albuquerque'' mark Mr. Mueller and company as ready for the big leagues. Regular gigs: Wednesday-Saturday at Cadillac Ranch. Most recent CD: Stagger Lee. Greg Schaber You've heard them so many times before -- "blues, shoes, news." Writing blues songs without the usual cliches isn't easy. But Greg Schaber (of High Street) manages it on a regular basis. Regular gigs: Arnold's (tonight), York Street Cafe (Saturday), Rosie's, Allyn's and other local spots.
Most recent CD: Gypsy Moon, coming out April 3. |
