Xavier women grab TV spotlight
Xavier will face six teams this season that were in the 1999 NCAA Tournament and play on television a school-record three times.
The Musketeers, who advanced to the second round of the NCAA before losing to Connecticut, open their season Nov.19 at home against Wisconsin-Green Bay, a tournament team.
The others: Cincinnati (Dec.5), Kentucky (Dec.31), St.Joseph's (Jan.9), George Washington (Jan.22, Feb.20) and Virginia Tech (Jan.30, Feb.10).
The XU-UC game will be on Channel 64. ESPN2 will show the St.Joseph's game, and the A-10 TV Network will carry the Feb.20 George Washington game.
