Turner back practicing with Xavier
BY MICHAEL PERRY
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Aaron Turner resumed practicing with the Musketeers on Saturday night after being suspended indefinitely for academic reasons.
The sophomore forward had not practiced for about a week and a half. The team had been off since Tuesday night's victory over St. Mary's.
Turner's absence the past three games has already forced Xavier to alter its style of play. Coach Skip Prosser said the Musketeers are not full-court pressing as much defensively without Turner, who played at the top of the press in a roll previously filled by Torraye Braggs, then James Posey.
He's the best guy at doing that, Prosser said of Turner. Without Aaron playing, we're a totally different team. We can't press the way we want to press. It changes our defensive attack.
