XAVIER NOTEBOOK
BY MICHAEL PERRY
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Sophomore Lloyd Price had arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder and will begin rehabilitation Monday.
Price, a 6-5 forward, will concentrate on rehab and probably won't pick up a basketball for at least six weeks.
FOOT FAULT: Sophomore Kevin Frey is scheduled to see a foot specialist Monday and is expected to have arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle within the next couple weeks. Frey has synovitis of the ankle an inflammation of the lining tissue in the joint and tiny bone chips.
Jennifer Phillips, a two-time second-team all-Atlantic 10 selection, is scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on her right knee Friday.
WHERE'S THE SPEECH? Senior Darnell Williams won't get to give a farewell talk at Thursday's men's basketball banquet, because he won't be there.
Williams leaves Tuesday for the Portsmouth (Va.) Invitational NBA pre-draft camp.
Williams also will attend the Nike Desert Classic in Phoenix.
