The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Xavier women's team appears in five preseason rankings thus far.
The Musketeers are rated 15th by womenscollegehoops.com, 20th by Street & Smith's, and 23rd by Athlon, Lindy's and Basketball News.
The momentum has carried over to recruiting, where all four women who have come for official visits have committed to XU:
Alexis Henderson, a 6-foot-1 forward from Wilmington (Dela.) Ursuline;
Nikki Wells, a 5-10 guard from Woodbridge (Va.) Garfield;
Ashleigh Cuncic, a 5-10 guard from Carlisle (Ontario) St. Mary's;
Kim Neidermeyer, a 6-foot forward from Eastlake (Ohio) North.
