Prosser, Fogelson to meet

By Neil Schmidt
The Cincinnati Enquirer

Xavier coach Skip Prosser is expected to meet this weekend with Seton Hall athletic director Jeff Fogelson to discuss the Pirates' coaching position.

Prosser is in Minneapolis for the Final Four. Fogelson told the Asbury Park (N.J.) Press Thursday he is also headed to Minneapolis to attend the Final Four. Fogelson told the Seton Hall players Wednesday he would talk to Prosser about the opening.

Prosser, who was hired by Fogelson as Xavier's coach seven years ago when Fogelson was XU's AD, would not say if he had interest in Seton Hall's opening.

“I don't discuss these things,” Prosser said. “They're a private matter, between myself and Xavier and my players. I just got done telling the same thing to the Jersey papers.”

Seton Hall's job came open Wednesday when Tommy Amaker left after two seasons to take the coaching job at Michigan.
