Reetta Piipari scored 24 points — 22 in the first half — as the Musketeers earned their first Atlantic 10 victory of the season.

        Amy Waugh had 14 points and 11 assists for Xavier (6-9, 1-2 A-10). Kate Kreager added 13 points for the Musketeers, who led 39-32 at halftime with the help of 57 percent (8-of-14) 3-point shooting in the first half.

        Patty Williams scored 20 points for Fordham (3-11, 1-2), which outrebounded XU 35-31.
