XU loses recruit
The Enquirer and wire reports
Greg Paulus, a point guard from Manlius, N.Y. (a Syracuse suburb), who was high on Xavier's recruiting list, announced he will attend Duke. XU, North Carolina, Syracuse and Notre Dame were his other final schools.
Xavier now will target Kyle Lowry, a 5-foot-11 point guard from Philadelphia Cardinal Dougherty High. Lowry is scheduled to visit Xavier Sept. 26.
