George Washington's win against Temple Wednesday stopped GW's four-game losing streak, which might have had a lot to do with where George Washington was playing.
Until GW defeated Temple 78-60 at home, the Colonials played four straight road games, losing the final two on the home courts of No. 18 Texas and No. 9 Saint Joseph's. George Washington has enough talent to challenge for an A-10 title this season, but only if the Colonials can get wins on the road, which is where they are again today against Massachusetts.
Rhode Island's Brian Woodward scored his 1,000th point Wednesday against Yale. He also made 16 of 16 free throws in the game and has made 58 of 62 free throws in the last 10 games, a 93.5 percent clip.
Duquesne's Martin Osimani leads the A-10 in assists at 6.25 a game, and it's easy to see why. He recorded 12 assists Wednesday in a win against Ohio University.
