Xavier ranks second only to Duke when it comes to graduating student-athletes, according to a recent NCAA report.
According to the NCAA Official 2004 Division I Graduation-Rates Report, Xavier graduated 93 percent of its students from the 1997-98 incoming class. Duke graduated 94 percent. The NCAA also released a four-class average for all Division I schools. Xavier's four-year average of 79 percent tied for 23rd in the nation.
Romain Sato, who graduated last spring, helped bolster XU's ranking. Individual school results are available at www.ncaa.org. Numbers were not available for Ivy League schools.
